Key dates and milestones across the competition
Opening & Orientation
The program began with airport pickup, registration, an ice-breaking ceremony, and the official welcome dinner and Opening Ceremony.
Entrepreneurship Courses & Mentorship
Each morning, students attended U.S. college-credit entrepreneurship courses, followed by group discussions, project refinement, and one-on-one mentor sessions.
Cultural Exploration
Participants explored Sanxingdui Museum, Kuanzhai Alley, and enjoyed a Sichuan Opera face-changing performance. They also visited Du Fu Thatched Cottage, Shuijingfang Distillery, and the Sichuan Cuisine Museum, gaining a deeper appreciation for Chengdu’s history and cultural heritage.
Industry Visits
Students visited top companies such as Volvo, Siemens, and JD Logistics Asia One Smart Park, learning about advanced manufacturing, innovation, and automation.
Special Experience
A full day was dedicated to the Chengdu Panda Breeding Base, where participants volunteered in panda care activities — preparing food, learning feeding routines, and observing the animals closely.
Final Preparation & Competition
In the last days, students finalized their 8-slide pitch decks, drew lots for presentation order, and rehearsed their projects. On July 30, each team presented an 8-minute pitch followed by a 5-minute Q&A before the jury.
